Cinna – Swirls
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 pkg dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup oil
1 egg (beaten)
31/4 cup flour (about)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Deep fry
Scald milk, stir in 1/4 c sugar, salt, and oil. Cool to luke warm
Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large bowl. Stir into the luke warm milk mixture,
beaten egg and 1/2 the flour, beat until smooth, Stir in enough additional flour to form a soft dough.
On lightly floured board knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 – 10 minutes
Place in a greased bowl cover, let rise in warm place about 1 hour
Combine remaining 3/4 c sugar, cinnamon-sugar mixture. Roll into roll and sprinkle w/mixture
Place ongreased sheet, Let rise 30 minutes
Deep fry in oil for 2-3 minutes or until brown on both sides while warm dip in powder sugar
